This episode can be summed up to two key scenes. One being hot due to Mia going at it with the young stud Manny and the other being so freaking hilarious because Caitlin’s girlfriend is with child. Yeah, just when her relationship and sexual issues could not get any more complicated, she was informed at dinner that Alisha is pregnant. That was not even the best part of that scene. It was the look on Catlin’s face that spoke volumes; and her initial reply was “Congratulations!”.
So later on in the show Caitlin is approached at work by the playwright she met at the baby shower and they go out for a date and more. While this is going on Mia is casually dating that gorgeous doctor and flirting with the Manny. After a few exchanges via text messaging and looking over his photography portfolio, they get to know each other a little bit better. Mia goes over to Zoe’s home where the Manny works and they make out in the hallway, and Zoe walks in.
Zoe however is having issues of her own trying to get to her husband to celebrate their anniversary. The great thing about Zoe’s husband is that when you would predict that he would get a bit jealous over the work husband, as he sees him in a robe answering his wife’s hotel room door. He doesn’t. This guy is too good to be true, and if that was the other way around, I am sure Zoe would have handled it differently.
One disappointment with the show is how Davis seems to be one step ahead of Juliet when it comes to their marriage. Also, Juliet seems so strong and fierce but yet she let’s that creep Davis take care of the family finances. I love this story line because it shows us how some women still allow that role of “simple house wife”, in the marriage, when in fact there is nothing simple and easy about it. This episode was great with enough humor to keep you interested. My only suggestion is keep it up!
